The ATLANTICADE entertainment tent will party central each night beginning on day two of the 9th annual motorcycle festival which kicks off on July 1st.

The opening nght entertainment is being provided on the main stage by legendary Canadian rock group Trooper. Then the following three nights the fun shifts to the entertainment tent located on the festival grounds.

On Thursday night Molson will host a “kick-off party” from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm with door prizes and music provided by Brown’s Avenue. On Friday from 10:00 pm to midnight it is the Coors Biker Bash again with door prizes and music by the Muddy River Rockers. Cover charge for both nights is $5 but is included with VIP registration.

Saturday night will be the highlight as participants will be sworn in as members of the “Order of Good Cheer” with the likeness of Samuel de Champlain on hand to perform the ceremony and distribute patches to all in attendance. Entertainment will be provided by popular local solo artist Steven LeBlanc. Cover charge for this night will be $10 which is also part of the VIP registration package.

The fact the festival grounds are in downtown Moncton and within walking distance of several hotels will be no reason to worry about getting back on your bike if you are staying in the downtown area according to organizers. “There are a number of hotels within 5-10 minutes of the headquarters area” says committee member Donna Eagles. “In addition if someone wants to leave their bike at the site there will be overnight security.”

The “Order of Good Cheer” event will be a first time activity for the festival and should be a hit with participants. The event is open to 250 attendees with each person getting a patch to mark the occasion. In addition Steven LeBlanc is one of the best solo entertainers in the region and will keep the party jumping as it heads into the midnight hour.
