More details...
ATLANTICADE is Canada's original five day motorcycle festival that started in 2007. It is the largest motorcycle event in the province of Prince Edward Island and one of the premier gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts in Canada. Atlanticade has seen upwards of 10,000 motorcycle
enthusiasts attend from all 10 Canadian provinces and 9 American states. Part of
the appeal for participants is that Atlanticade is not about what you ride but
only the fact you ride. So you will see all makes and models and a wide variety
of motorcycle organizations. The Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA),
the Canadian Army Veterans (CAV), and the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers
(CMC) will all be volunteering their members to assist in this year's
event.
The 6th annual event is poised to break the
previous attendance record of 2010 as it returns to the Canada Day long
weekend in Prince Edward Island. Dates are June 28th to July 2nd with the Credit
Union Place in Summerside serving as the headquarters location throughout the 5
days.
ATLANTICADE is organized by a small executive committee chaired by Dale Hicks. However the planning and execution of the festival is supported by a committee of representatives from all parts of PEI, a strong group of volunteers, various motorcycle organizations, and the staff of the Town of Summerside.
Committee members Left to Right:
Cindy Bourgoin, Krista Mollins Jamieson, Gary Jamieson, Dale Hicks, Donna Eagles, Blaine Mollins
